As part of AJEEP Scheme 5 activities, CN diagnosis using on-site equipment was implemented at Lao Coca-Cola(LCC)in Sep. 2024.
Following the preparation of the CN diagnosis report and the reporting of the results within ASEAN, a medium-to-long-term plan was formulated.
The purpose of this meeting was to obtain approval from company executives for the formulated medium-to-long-term plan and to officially launch the CN project as a company initiative.
ECCJ explained the significance of the startup meeting, the final CN diagnosis report, and the activity plan following this meeting, gaining understanding.
The personnel responsible for the CN diagnosis at LCC presented the CN diagnosis results and the draft medium-to-long-term plan.

(1) Activities will initially focus on energy conservation measures.
(2) Based on the results of this CN diagnosis, an activity plan through 2030 has been formulated.
(3) As energy-saving measures, two actions are to be implemented: reviewing refrigerator set temperatures and reducing air compressor discharge pressure
(4) A challenge identified is that the Lao PDR relies primarily on hydropower, resulting in limited CO2 reduction impacts from solar power generation.
(5) ACE, DEEP, and ECCJ will continue to participate and provide support as necessary.

The above medium-to-long-term plan was explained to company executives in advance, and approval was obtained following the Q&A session.
While this marked the conclusion of the CN diagnosis activities under AJEEP Scheme 5, it represented the start of the CN project for LCC.
Extensive support was provided, including expert dispatch for on-site CN diagnosis, guidance on data collection and analysis methods, assistance in preparing diagnosis reports, and instruction on approaches to formulating medium-to-long-term plans. These efforts contributed to the development of personnel capable of formulating CN projects. This was the third CN diagnosis in the industrial sector under Scheme 5, and the intended outcomes we
re achieved. The experience gained will be utilized in this fiscal year’s CN diagnosis activities.
